Adapting Traditional Retail for Today’s Digital Customer

Denise Incandela is a visionary retail executive who has delivered growth and transformation for brands and
specialty retailers for over 20 years. An expert in brand building, retail, digital and marketing, she has a proven track record of exceeding revenue and profit targets, positioning businesses as market-leading
performers, and achieving award-winning results.
Currently, Denise is the SVP and Group General Manager of Fashion for Walmart ecommerce.  In this role, she is responsible for transforming fashion across Walmart’s U.S. ecommerce platforms, including Walmart.com, Jet.com, Shoes.com, and BareNecessities.com. This has entailed overhauling the fashion shopping experience, materially expanding the product assortment, driving key strategic retail partnerships and acquisitions, and launching high-profile exclusive brands such as EV1 by Ellen DeGeneres, Sofia Jeans by Sofia Vergara, and TEXTILE.
Before joining Walmart, Denise was President of Global Digital and CIEM for the Ralph Lauren Corporation, where she transformed its internal digital capabilities, including the turnaround of its global ecommerce
business and the creation of global digital centers of excellence.
Previously, Denise was EVP and Chief Marketing Officer of Saks Fifth Avenue where she oversaw Marketing and Digital. Denise launched the award-winning saks.com and saksoff5th.com businesses and built them from the ground up to be a $1 billion+ destination for online high-end fashion. Prior to Saks Fifth Avenue, Denise worked at McKinsey & Company, where she was a leader of their Retail practice.

Denise is on the Board of Directors of the NYC Animal Care Centers and the Industry Advisory Board for The
Wharton School’s Baker Retailing Center.
